Programs for Freshman
Peer Education includes students with different levels of experience, a wide variety of backgrounds, and across academic disciplines. In addition, many PeerEd programs look for students who have established a successful foundation at UConn before mentoring their peers. This foundation includes an understanding of the University, its policies, and the resources available to students. For this reason, a limited number of programs are available for first year students to participate in. We encourage new students to get involved from the start in order to build the foundation they need to mentor their peers. |
